★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This theatre was renovated in 2013 and is therefore in great condition. The performance was nice, but you have to plan a long time to queue for food and drink during the break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good acoustics, nice interior. A lot newer than I expected. I saw Billy Elliot from the balcony. Good prices. Great production. Be sure you look into the Hungarian Clap before attending so you know what to expect. They don’t do standing ovations but the “Hungarian Clap” should be experienced by every tourist at least once. :)

The statues and pictures are beautiful.
There is a wonderful treasure: the hand of St Stephen...
The entrance cost 200Ft (about 1 euro)
It's also possible to climb to the top...
