K	Kareem.Antoine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like shopping there, it's just a bit strange how early the shops close. Although the official closing time there is 6pm, most of the shops close at 4pm. It's impossible to reach them if you are heading back from work for example. It's all built on tourists which is a pity. It would be lovely to do the everyday grocery there.

O	Oxana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to shop for food in Budapest. Local sellers, sell fruits and vegetables, meat, sweets, bakery, milk products stands, red pepper, souvenirs. On the top floor there are eateries with Hungarian food, and more souvenirs. Best prices.

They try to reheat the food in a microwave, but they fail to heat the food to the proper temperature. They also seem to overcharge customers. Make sure you ask for prices ahead of time. We had ok luck in other markets, but this one is pretty bad.

S	Sanja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you're in Budapest the Fovam ter market or The great market is a place you definitely must visit. There you can buy fresh fruits or vegetables, meet, famous Hungarian sausages, paprika... Or maybe a souvenir or two for family and friends. If you're hungry there's a lot of good Hungarian food on the first floor and if you want to buy river fish go to the fishmarket in the basement.
K	Káló András on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a fantastic Market place. You can buy a products from all part of Europe. Nice, big french cheese selection. Hungarian sausages, meat products, goose liver pate. Wine from Tokaj.
F	From Jessie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to walk around! The juice stand is top notch! Fresh pressed pomegranate, orange and grapefruit. The other stalls are interesting to walk around. I give 4 stars only because the food stalls could be of better quality. But I guess this is a produce market and not a food hall.
