I was very surprised by how great this one was. There is a lot of hype around the thermal bathes in budapest and this one lives up to it. If you do not want to buy you need to bring a towel and sandals. Also there is one pool you can only swim in with a swim cap. Which you could also buy or bring. There is an outdoor pool area and then also outside a spa of like 35C and a sauna. Inside there is the pool you need the swim cap for and then lots and lots of different thermal bathes ranging from like 32C to 40C. There are also Finnish saunas inside with a cold pool outside. Also outside there is a bar for drinks and snacks. I don’t think you can bring those inside. Also my friends set up massages while there I recommend doing that right when you arrive because the time slots fill up. Everything was very organized and getting in was simple no reservation required just go in and buy entrance. I went in mid June and it was not overly crowded. Everyone was friendly. I would return here

Beautiful art nouveau setting. Indoor and outdoor pools. Plenty of place to sit and relax, read a book. I went on a weekday morning and was pleasantly surprised to see how uncrowded it was. Hot pools and saunas are lovely. Yes it looks a bit tired - but it is an authentic historical spa, and it’s nice that it hasn’t been changed. Showers to rinse off could be cleaner.

The bath is really beautiful, indeed. One of the pools in the internal part you only can enter if you have a cap to cover the hair. They have around 6 pools available (not counting the small cold ones). There was a cold Jacuzzi in front of the sauna, in the external part, which was disgustingly dirty. The others were better but after seeing that I got a bit annoyed with the cleaning of the rest. It seems like they are closing for reforms next month.

Maybe next time we come back we'll have a chance to swim in the deep pool. I was surprised to see that there is no water in it in the pool..?(that way 4⭐️)…But in the small pool next to the sauna, it was nice .. as well as in the cold water barrel. Inside you can enjoy several pools with thermal water , swimming pool ,also polls with hot water at 38-40 degrees and saunas

Very nice place to relax ! There are baths from very cold to 40C. I especially enjoyed the steam sauna. Price is super good - 16€ for an adult (for whole day), ticket includes a locker to leave your belongings. Be sure to take a towel, slippers, bathsuit, and if you want to swim in the main pool, take a pool cap, because you’re not allowed to swim in it without the cap.

Really great for hot water baths. The big outdoor pool was unfortunately closed, but the smaller one best the sauna was great. The sauna is good and there are stream rooms inside as well as more hot baths. The 45 minute massage I received was fine, nothing special but nice. Well worth a visit, if just for the architecture.

The place has not changed much in almost 30 years. Except the English language skills of the staff :-) This place is nice and relaxing. Remember to take your swimsuit and swim hat with you. The place is a true labyrinth: Indoor: - large pool (hat is required). - 1 + 1 smaller pools with view to the large pool. - 2 + 2 hot pools (used to be female/male). - 1 + 1 sauna and 1 + 1 steam room Outdoor: - 1 large pool (no water at the time of my visit March 2022) - 1 medium warm pool with sauna. Terrace and bar on the upper floor. PS. Some of the tourists assumed this was more a recreational/ entertainment aqua park. But this is a quiet place where people used to be talking about politics, history and culture, in a very polite and soft way. I assume the amount of tourists have pushed the local to another location.

Awesome place. For me perhaps the Number One recreational attraction in Budapest, the Spa centre of the World. I was there for 4 hours, but there's no time limit. My advice is go on a Weekday and get there early. I was there at opening time, 9.00am but it starts to get busy by 11.00am. Five Thermal Pools inside and one outside either 36C or 40C. Two swimming pools, one inside and one outside but both at 26C. Steam room, Ice Cold Plunge Pool (Inside & Out) and Two adjoining Saunas, one 70C the other 80C. The outside area, where there are loads of sun loungers, was almost unused when I visited. There is a restaurant/caffe here also, so bring a robe if you want to use. Basically you could spend all day here so really not bad value for a day's entertainment. Note, you must wear flip flops within the complex but you can buy these at the shop near the ticket office. Also shower/swim cap required in the swimming pools, but not the Thermal Pools. Wrist Band electronic lockers and plenty of shower facilities.
