★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Golop reformátussá lett lakossága és a helyi földbirtokos báró Vay László a korábbi katolikus templom helyén és felhasználásával 1778-ban építette a református templomot. Vay László bőkezű támogatásából orgonára is jutott. 1888-ban báró Vay Sándor támogatásával újították fel a templomot, új toronysisak is készült. 1911-ben nyerte el mai formáját.
 Golop's Reformed population and the local landowner Baron László Vay built the Reformed church in 1778 on the site and using the former Catholic church. With the generous support of László Vay, he also received an organ. The church was renovated in 1888 with the support of Baron Sándor Vay, and a new tower helmet was made. In 1911, it gained its present form.
