I attended church because of a sad event. Soothing environment with a jewelry box in the temple.

Wonderful; has a special sub temple. It always remains for me. The final resting place of my foster parent. Father Thomas is very kind; a helpful pastor.

Very young church of significant size, consecrated in 1942. Its architecture is also modern, made of reinforced concrete. It’s hard to photograph because it hides among the trees.

Wonderfully beautiful, modern church, undeservedly unknown and "hidden" on Máriaremetei road. The church is easily accessible, by bus 63, it is only 1-2 minutes from the Bükkfa street stop, it is true that there is a staircase or ascent (depending on whether you approach it from the main entrance or from the sacristy). So this bus is well accessible to the church, but not by other means of public transport and unfortunately this bus is also quite rare. From the stop, the church is a little further in or up, but its tower is already clearly visible from the bus stop. The exterior of the church is also characterized by a very beautiful, clean, uniform, modern style, especially the high, narrow, pierced mass of the main entrance façade with piercing windows as one walks up the imposing flight of stairs leading to the main entrance. My partner and I were here for a simple Sunday Mass, but we were absolutely impressed by the simplicity and beauty of the church. Especially the interior church space, which I can safely say is that it can be classified as one of the best of modern Hungarian church architecture. Clearly, the most ingenious solution for me was to use “bare” raw (iron?) Concrete columns that held the slab, facing the rows of benches with bold edges and shapes. They give the space almost a kind of modern "gothic" effect. On the pedestals formed on the concrete columns, towards the rows of benches, are statues of various saints larger than human height, which also made me feel like a kind of medieval "knight's hall" atmosphere. High, colored (lead?) Glass windows let in the light between the concrete columns. When we were, late in the morning, the light penetrating through the stained glass windows projected a very beautiful colored pattern onto the rustic concrete columns and sculptures holding the slab. The design of the ceiling of the church square is very simple, yet beautiful, with its simple, rhombus-patterned lattice. And the huge, round chandeliers that often linger in one’s eyes fit in very well. What is still definitely worthy of praise is the very bold, curved-sided triangular wall cut-out in the sanctuary, which makes visible the modern altarpiece depicting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. My partner and I also really liked this altarpiece and it fits in perfectly with the style of the interior of the church. We also found the benches comfortable, the church square is spacious and airy, the sound quality is good. The priest who massed was also very sympathetic to us, spoke well and was attentive to the believers, for example, he carried on the fate of an elderly lady who had become ill in the great heat and instructed the believers to give appropriate help as soon as possible. It was also very sympathetic that in the foyer of the temple they were made with separate mineral water for the thirsty believers who might have weakened from the great heat. Though it wasn't particularly warm at all in the churchyard, they thought of those coming from the heat outside. It was a sympathetic gesture, and anyway, based on the believers present, it could be a kind, familiar, cohesive church community. All in all, we really liked this church, it’s a shame it’s so far away from us, otherwise we might visit here more often. We can love to recommend it to everyone.
