Ideal place for running plus there is closed soccer field, covered with plastic which is good for feet

Its a traditional place of roundabouts and circus since the thirties or even before, although its over on its golden age, when these things were more popular. The Nagyrét (which means "huge field") still a well-known place with fresh air and its merely a few minutes walk from the end station of the tram 61 and 56. People even nowadays like to sit in the grass and having a picnic in Nagyrét. You can see the mountain Hárshegy from the field, which has its own watchtower. During your way from the tram station to the field, theres a small path on the right of your road. This small path leads between a few minutes across the wood to the hilltop Fazekas-hegy where you can find a 2. word war-bunker with spectacular view.

This is a nice huge field with some exercise facilities and a really crappy fairground. The good thing is that there are plenty of picnic areas and barbecue places, and places even for open fire. The place is rather big and not crowded at all, you can play football or badminton anything you like. There are some supermarkets nearby but usually you can't buy any refreshments on the field itself.

This place is a good destination for some light family hiking in the nature, close to the city. There is a handball/basketball/futsal field just recently opened along with a new play field for children and some street work out stations. Otherwise a huge open air place, with a number of walking paths around in the woods. Also the Hárshegy is just a few steps away.
