We had an enjoyable stay. We were here for 2 nights, the staff were good and kind. Breakfast was delicious, actually, there was no problem at all. I'd have a small complaint and that is -> the room we stayed in had only one power supply in room and one in bathroom. In the modern age, everybody needs to charge their phones and cameras...

Very clean, but rather traditional rooms which, nevertheless, serve their purpose. For everybody who uses the hotel to sleep there and take a shower it's definitely enough and recommendable. The staff was really freindly. There is a key-locked luggage-room available for everyone. The breakfast is very traditional, too. It's okay as there are different breads (which were all very dry) and baloneys and cheese. Coffee and different juices are offered, too.

The service was Ok. The room we stayed in was a little too noisy for our taste (room no. 53). There was some problem with the window: with the window closed or opened, the noise reduction was minimal, so we were woken up every morning by the busy street, trams, and overpass just in front of the hotel. So I advise doing something about the windows for rooms facing the street.

On arrival. We were greeted by a lovely blonde lady. We found our way to our rooms, but were not massively impressed. The rooms are seriously in need of updating, and one thing that is important - change the pillows. Ours were stained and the linen smelled similar to that of cooking fat. I had to cover our pillows with a towel from the bathroom. In the evening, we liked a glass of baileys as a nightcap. The second evening, the baileys ran out, so we assumed they would replenish the stock. This didn’t happen, so we bought our own. The third night, still no baileys, and then no ice. The blonde lady pulled out the stops to get us some baileys and ice by making a call, but not for an hour, but we had an early start next morning and had to decline. The front rooms aren’t sound proof, as the traffic outside can be heard even wearing earplugs. Breakfast is basic, and in my opinion, the eggs should be separate from the meat for vegetarians! An Important feature… In all honesty, this is at best, 2 stars in the condition it is currently in. With a good clean and refurb, it would make 4 stars as advertised. Walking into Pest is at least 45 minutes, although we were assured that the bus could be picked up from just along the road. We preferred to walk. We would return, but the hotel would have to undergo a thorough clean and revamp first. Great thanks to the blonde lady, she did her best to meet our needs.

We had a great stay at the hotel. It is located not far from Gellérthegy or Buda Castle. Breakfast was provided. There is a shopping mall within walking distance. It's well connected to the city by tram; a stop is just outside the hotel.
