House of Music, Hungary - Hungary
„A lelkünkhöz a fülünk van a legközelebb.” (Johann Gottfried Herder, „Kritische Wälder”, 1769)
A Magyar Zene Háza: életfa a ligetben. Arany levelei, karcsú oszlopai révén koronája, törzse van. Most a gyökereknél állunk. Itt a kiállítás tárgya maga a zene. Hallgass a zenére!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant building, worth a look. We took part in a guided tour, which lasted 1.5 hours going through on such parts of the building, which is usually closed in front of the 'normal' visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully designed building which complements it's surroundings and uses natural light very effectively to illuminate the interior.
There are several exhibitions and shows here, I attended the 40 minute performance in the acoustically perfect Dome. Lie back on bean bags, look up into the Dome and experience the visual effects accompanied by manufactured electronic sounds.

✔️Free storage for coats ?
✔️Can’t wait to see some programs in their concert hall
〰️Still requires finishing touches(programs, activities) because it’s seems quite empty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional organic architectural work by Sou Fujimoto (born 1971). The acoustics of the concert hall is very good despite the glass walls. Worth to visit daytime and evening too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful modern architecture, that took into consideration the trees in the site when it was designed and built. Definitely wanna buy a ticket and see some concerts in there one day. The park outside is also dedicated to music, both adult and children can play music in the little park attached to the building on instrument that’s built on the park!
