The Hungarian State Treasury (abbreviated as: Treasury, in English Hungarian State Treasury, in German: Ungarisches Schatzamt, in French: Trésor Public de la Republique de Hongrie) is a state-owned, independently operating and managing, public, central budget body with independent legal personality.
Its headquarters are located on Hold Street in the 5th district of Budapest. The Art Nouveau building was designed by Ödön Lechner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Former Royal Postal Savings Bank, this building now serves as the Hungarian state treasury. Visitors may enter the foyer but may not proceed further. Do take a photo of the "beehives" located on roof of the main entrance, which signify the importance of saving your money.
