★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always the best! I discovered this place back in 2014 and it hasn't disappointed me once. The dishes are simply super. If you like real quality food this is the place. Signature dishes i.e. must try are the the sauted prawns (sauce to die for with bread) and their Cesar salad that is a hole half chicken or duck with a delicious side of lettuce-parmesan- super croutons salad. The bred is home made and delicious. The wine choice is focused an very good. Prices are fair. Again, a must if you are in Budapest!

First, the atmosphere is small, intimate but not uncomfortable
The staff is family run, very welcoming hospitable energy, cheesy but the good is made with love
It’s a Hungarian restaurant with good portions, we recommend the pork belly, so tender and crunchy at the same time

Lovely people and a authentic atmosphere - the open kitchen was also very special.
The food was absolutely stunning, especially the ribs were probably the best ribs I’ve had so far.
Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

This place is very special, with top-notch kitchen, we had great entrees followed by amazing Wild boar ribs and simple but traditional Hungarian home-made dessert, all which were paired with great wine and Unicum for dessert by recommendation by the lovely yet very professional waiter.
Also mind that this restaurant is quite small and reserving a table a head of time is very much needed.

The salad was so perfectly balanced with a mix of greens, oil and herbs.
Kaiserschmarrn was a delight with apricot and apple jam.
The most charming place in Budapest. Highly recommend!
