Beautiful garden. Easy to spend half day here. Cheap entrance (4-5 euro) and offers a huge, well organized place.

The park itself is huge. You can spend hours exploring every segment of it. Be aware that during summer mosquitoes invade the garden. However, only the hungarian faune is well-represented, the Asian or North American trees are only found in a small area. The treetop walk isn't the main attraction, it's not huge or long, although, it can be quite enjoyable.

I visited this arboretum twice so far. Once as a kid, then now, as an adult. Both trips left me with wonderful memories. I still recall the trip as a kid 30(!) years ago. If you're a parent, don't hesitate to take your kids for a day out. You may give them lifelong memories. The arboretum, now called Magic Garden is enjoyable for all generations. May or June are the best times to go. In May, the rhododendron plants are blooming under the trees, providing a wonderful sight and scent. Early June is when hortenzias are flowering. They look great too. Apart from flowering plants, there are plenty of other sights. Trees and plants from different regions of the world, forrest, lakes, creeks, a couple of observation towers and the Walkway of Giants. The Walkway of Giants is an elevated structure leading you amongst the treetops complete with a slide! As a summary, I'd say, go here, visit this place, you won't regret. Entry is cheap, only 1300 ft (cca. 3 euros) for adults (2019 price).
