However, the mapping & signposting once inside is abysmal - so, go prepared ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most gorgeous in early May when the rhododendrons are blooming, this arboretum is one of my all time favourite sites to visit in spring, had been for the last 40 years or so. It is just becoming more and more beautiful every year, it has great masters to look after.
