★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst ever customer service!!! Dont even try if you dont want to spoil your time, vacation, etc. Not reachable hotel representatives, either by mail or by phone. But very good at skimming your money for nothing!!! Would never recommend to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great, price level is acceptable, but the "economy" rooms are in the basement which is quite depressing with its bad lightning and outdated furniture. This is not really promoted anywhere... The owner is a bit strange, can't really handle any negative feedback. The overall experience is not good, I would recommend to look for another place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked last minute at panzio because of problems with the booking at another apartment.
The owner has received us warmly and is very thoughtful. We got a spacious, clean room with daily clean towels and a private bathroom.
We have felt welcome: we were allowed to sit anywhere in the garden or on the terrace. She gave recommendations on what we could visit in the city.
For a next visit to Budapest, we will come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not dislike our experience here, but it could have been a lot nicer. The decoration of our room was OK, but all a bit dated. The heavy wood antique furniture, which in its own right is pleasant enough, is however an acquired taste. Communication was not good and the host come over as not very approachable. The kitchen was not very well equipped although we did like the charming tea and coffee cups, the cooking utensils left something to be desired. The location is great for transport and walking into the City. The advertising implies it has a spa, but it doesn't. The Gellért Spa is next door and that is fabulous. Our host insisted on cash which could have been a problem but we accepted her request. It is not so expensive to stay in, so perhaps we should not expect to much. The house is grand and could be such a better experience with a friendly smile here and there
