★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Kékszalag a Balaton és a vitorlázás legnagyobb ünnepe, a Magyar Vitorlás Szövetség legnagyobb eseménye. Távja légvonalban mintegy 160 kilométer. Az nyeri el a Balaton Kékszalagját, aki az óramutató járásának megfelelően a leggyorsabban körbehajózza a tavat.
Negyvennyolc órán belül kell célba érni mindenkinek. Az abszolút eredményeken túl osztályonként is osztanak díjakat, tehát mindenki a saját kategóriájában vagy hajóosztályában is versenyez. Olyan, mint a New York maraton: az is eredmény, ha végig mész. Résztvevői egyszerre küzdenek meg az ellenfelekkel és az elemek kihívásaival, két napon át egyszerre teszi próbára a vitorlázni tudást, a kitartást és az akaraterőt.
 The Blue Ribbon is the biggest celebration of Lake Balaton and sailing, the biggest event of the Hungarian Sailing Association. It is about 160 kilometers as the crow flies. The one who walks around the lake the fastest clockwise wins the Blue Ribbon of Lake Balaton.
Everyone has to reach their destination within forty-eight hours. In addition to the absolute results, prizes are also awarded per class, so everyone competes in their own category or class of boat. It’s like the New York Marathon: it’s also a result if you go through it. Its participants fight opponents and the challenges of the elements at the same time, testing their ability to sail, perseverance and willpower at the same time for two days.
