I’ve been to a lot of Document Offices over the last 3 decades, but to put it mildly, I’ve rarely come across anything that would have served me quickly, flexibly, and kindly. Well, if anyone wants to get a good impression of a Document Office, I recommend the Törökbálint Government Window. I came with my granddaughter for a license extension, so I was a little afraid that the 3-year-old would be able to handle it, but it all happened so fast, it was all over 10 minutes, and the lady at the counter was very nice!

There is no problem with the administration, it is moving fast. But I was with my little girl to do an ID card and two clerks insulted her just because she was excited and didn’t know what to do. If they do it to me, I’ll max out, but they shouldn’t behave like that with a kid.

It was also recommended by others, and I had high hopes for the place based on the descriptions. On the day of my first booking, I was called that one of my colleagues was sick, we needed two for our case, let’s go next week. We swallowed and were understanding, although you usually have to take half a day off from work, but it's okay. The second time has come. After a few hours of sleep, we went there early in the morning as we had talked to the clerk on the phone. Then, to our shock, we were greeted on arrival to come back next week then, because the other colleague is sick right now. The total shock is indescribable. The fact that they could not speak in front of him, that they did not call a word of apology was completely humiliating. Not to mention that we taxed money unnecessarily to get there at a time when there was no bus and we had to take half a day off from work for nothing. I’m very angry and I don’t consider it all a professional attitude, even in Covid’s time. With so much experience behind us on the epidemic, we could be prepared for such situations well in advance. It is not possible to play this way with the time and patience of the people in the institutions maintained by our tax. Terrible disappointment!
