E	Ed Stirling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's hard to beat authentic Hungarian goulash and palacsinta at this price. If you are on a budget, a good meal here only costs about Can$ 5.00 or US$ 4.00.
T	Turoczy Zoltan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave this place 5 stars recently (for their tripe porkolt, which is excellent), but I ate lunch there yesterday (daily menu), and the food was bad. Typical "menza" style, and this should not be synonymous with hungarian cuisine: lots of flour in the fozelek, french onion soup had nothing to do with real french onion soup, and the sertes porkolt was greasy and tasteless (see the 2nd photo). I had diarrhea after having lunch there, not to mention that I finished maybe 30% of the dishes. I wasn't expecting much for the "napi menu", but still. Service was nice though. Eat their tripe porkolt, order from the a la carte menu, but avoid the daily menza menu.

If you want good food, I suggest you try elsewhere. Be aware, nothing on the lunch buffet is written in English and the staff, while very friendly, did not speak much English. The a la carte menu is only available at dinner, but I can only imagine it's the same food from the buffet anyway.

The restaurant has pretty accesibile prices and the menu is also in english. The place is not so fancy designed, but it is simple and clean, and with the pleasant lounge musisc, is an enjoyable place. Also the personel is friendly and smiling all time and ready to offer their help. Thank you!
