¡Gracias!
Wonderful space with priceless objects dating back more than 300 years! The attention is truly warm, the lighting magnificent, the temperature very pleasant. All the identification cards are in Hungarian and fortunately in English. And today I was fortunate to experience a beautiful baroque music concert in the lower part of the museum. Four musicians and a performance woman, who suddenly recited, suddenly moved mysteriously around the room, either with a black cloth on her shoulders, or with a leather trench coat or a mask. The cello has been one of my favorite instruments for a long time and this type of music favors it a lot! In addition, the interpretation was magnificent. Also the wind instruments were beautiful! A whole collection of flutes, and the other big instrument that looks like two guitars in one but obviously isn't, sounds beautiful. I loved the soprano with a pristine voice and a lot of stage presence. Thanks!

A chance find whilst searching for the underground railway museum and quite a surprise. I didn't know much about Lutheran religion but this museum explains it's beliefs, spread in Hungary and it's legacy. A fun animated video at the reception gives you a good overview before you enter the museum which contains various religious items, manuscripts etc.

Disappointing, especially if you speak English. Not a whole lot to see and quite a bit was not in English so I couldn't understand the videos, etc. Then a student tour came in and took over and the church was closed so I didn't even get to see that Overall a disappointment.

Little space but great expérience. Historical documents served by the best of technology, discovery of Luther"s testament, even little children May have fun and learn in the same time !and you can relax in the music corner. Really worth a visit ! This muséum got the unesco award 2017 for the best museum

One of the biggest surprises I've had in Budapest: walked into this one thinking it will be a small, boring and disorganized mess like most other museums in the city and I ended up actually something, and quite a lot Ignore those who say that the museum doesn't have English translation, it does for ALL the permanent exhibition. Indeed there was a temporary exhibition only in Magyar, but it had nothing to do with Lutheranism anyway Although you only get to see there rooms, there is ample material to read, this is a "mature" museum, it expects you to have some general knowledge of history. It is also surprisingly free from bias while at the same time clearly exhibiting pride and confidence in the Lutheran faith The personnel is very kind, definitely the kindest I've found in Budapest museums
