★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is perfect. The atmosphere is authentic, yet not overdone, as in some other tourist focused places.
The staff is super friendly, they were the same nice to me as an older German couple next to me, with really good spoken German, btw.
The food is delicious, big portions, but still, not too expensive. Actually, compared to the quality and size, the food is considered to be cheap here
I would definitely recommend the "mákos guba" (poppy seed cake) as a dessert. I uploaded the picture of it, but it is the most delicious one I have ever had in my life - freshly made, lots of poppy seed and still very soft.

The food is 10/10. Every single thing we eat was perfect. The palačinka (creeps) are a must have here. The soups are amazing. The catfish with noodle and cheese is one of the best I ever had. Would highly recommend this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The serving was a little bit slow but in this time we can talk to each other and enjoy the beautiful live music. The food was much more than I expected and the taste of the food was unbelievable tasty. The older waiter was much more friendly then the younger waiter. But I cant give a four and a half star so i give the five star. Absolutely worth a try for everyone. Last but not least it's isn't as expensive restaurant as I thought.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Hungarian restaurant with a delicious food! The personnel was atentive, also speaking German and the owner speaks good English. I specialy liked the fish soup which is served in heated cooper bowl. The decor of restaurant is also special in an hungarian style. There is a live gipsy music at the end of the week. Restaurant is just a short walk from the lake and center of Heviz. Free parking is another plus!
