It was nicely tidied up, nice to walk and sit here. There is a lot of useful information on the information boards on the old university.

Kb. a 12. századtól a 14. századig püspöki palota álltt it, amely valamikor a 14. század második felében történt átépítéseket követően, feltehetően funkcióváltáson esett át. A korábbi középudvarházas palota udvarát lefedték és nagyobb létszám befogadására alkalmassá tették, a kialakítás alapján akár előadótermeket is elképzelhetünk itt, két szinten. A tárlaton megismerhető Pécs középkori történetének egy egész hosszú időszaka, látványos videófelvételekkel gazdagítva. Érdemes meglátogatni. Based on our present knowledge, the fourth Central European and the first Hungarian university, founded in 1367, is the most likely location. From about the 12th to the 14th century, a bishop's palace stood here, which sometime after the reconstructions in the second half of the 14th century, presumably underwent a change of function. The courtyard of the former half-manned palace was covered and made suitable for a larger number of people, based on the design, we can even imagine lecture halls here, on two levels. The exhibition features a whole long period of the medieval history of Pécs, enriched with spectacular video recordings. Worth a visit.

Bár nap közben nyilvánosan látogatható, bejutni csak konferenciák alkalmával lehet gyakorlatilag. Nem mindent tudtak kiállítani, az anyagok nagy része ma is feldolgozatlan és a kutatók anyagait összekeverték. It has been wonderfully restored, although a wealth of archaeological data has not been taken into account and the walls are less maintained, the castle walls are not regularly maintained and are difficult to access. Although it can be visited in public during the day, access is only possible during conferences. Not everything could be exhibited, most of the materials are still unprocessed and the materials of the researchers have been mixed.
