I booked a single room for 5 nights and unfortunately at none of those nights was I able to sleep well. First because the doors slam shut very hard (weird mechanism), second because there's no carpet in the rooms but tiles so you can hear absolutely every step. The breakfast isn't worth the price. They even hang a sign that says "appetite comes with eating" and that didn't even work. The scrambled eggs are watery and the colour looks very unappealing. The cereals taste stale, the toast is small and also of bad quality. Forget about the "pastries" because its mostly just air and resembles cardboard more than food. The orange juice isn't fresh but out of a carton and is so sugary you can't really tell its supposed to be orange juice. And the coffee is chugged into a big container and has a very sour note to it (not bitter - it's actually sour). The only good thing was - the staff was nice and friendly, even if not that helpful at times. Also the room service missed a day or just skipped it.

This is a hotel+hostel hybrid accommodation. It has a very good location, pretty central and close to some iconic hallmarks of Budapest. I generally liked my stay in the hotel. One issue is the staff is not well coordinated. I had two bookings on my name (had to extend my stay because of flight reschedule). I wrote an email to notify the hotel of this and to allow me to stay in the same room. When I arrived, the receptionist said they were not forwarded my request; but the receptionist was very nice and sorted everything out. She was great, forgot to get her name to thank her. But then the next day, another receptionist comes into my room and asks me to check out. When I explained the situation to her, she seemed a bit suspicious and said she will check in the system. I wonder, do colleagues not see/check what the previous shift puts into the booking system? Anyway, the receptionist later confirmed they made a mistake and did not check the booking properly - that the same room is booked under the same name/reservation - the previous colleague put that in the system. It seems staff is too busy/overworked and the place was quite full. Granted, I had two bookings but everything was paid in advance, and I had emphasized the two bookings are mine several times, which was sorted when I checked in, and also paid the city tax for both my bookings so that I can stay in the same room, yet, it still was a somewhat stressful experience. Luckily I was in the room when the receptionist came to check, who knows what would have happened to my stuff if they thought the room should be vacant. Apart from no coordination among staff/the booking system, and also the fact that you can hear people in other rooms, generally my stay was pleasant.

The staff is very helpful and very nice. The working area was so good, quiet for job meetings (if it wasn't for that one day that was a problem with the internet connection), lots of space for everyone working in distance from each-other. The room was very clean and offering all facilities as previously shown in the website. The cleaning ladies were often coming to collect daily trash in the room. But even though we had a short stay, it would have been nice if one day they had cleaned everything in the room. Ah, yes please add hotel slippers in the room :) Overall I would recommend it as it meets the normal expectations and the price justifies the service

Wonderful place. We arrived after midnight and guys met us on the reception, after that we settled after 10 minutes. All personal there are very positive, all time want to help with any questions. Rooms are clean and pretty big as for the hostel. Location is convenient. In 5 minutes there are bus stop, underground. I'm really recommend this hostel!

Nothing fancy, simply good. Room seemed to be quite new, so everything was in mint condition (except the shower door which could not be closed). Simple, practical furnishing - aimed for people who only spend time in their hotel room when they come back from the city to sleep for the night. And you should do so, because the hotel location is great, you can get to every major part of Budapest in no more than 20-30 minutes. Staff is mostly young people, they've always been friendly. Apparently most of their guests are also young. Breakfast is OK, not a crazy variety but you'll definitely find something to your liking. I loved the nice, spacious café in the lobby and the co-working space in the mezzanine, the lockers (although it's not very nice that you have to pay extra if you're a hotel guest, but it's only 1.5 EUR for 6 hours), the speedy elevators and above all, the attention to details: like room doors, that are pretty well sound-insulated. Or the good quality of the toilet papers - I've stayed in much more expensive and super-fancy, 300-dollar hotels around the world that could only offer one-ply 'cigarette papers'. Or the almost spotless language quality of the signs, to which a lot of hotels also don't pay a lot of attention. All in all, I've been satisfied and will probably return here.

I travel on my own and was only able to book for 6-person mixed dorm and I didn’t know what would the experience be like. Upon checking, the manager saw I was travelling solo, and upgraded me to a 4-person female only dorm - without me asking! That’s what I call anticipated customer service! My stay was pleasant, toilet were cleaned daily and my roommates were all quite pleasant. There were lockers downstairs where I can rent to place important stuff too. Amazing vibe , location is pretty close to everywhere you want to go. Amazing transport link.

Simple, but interesting hotel, ideal for guests who want good rest in the center of Budapest. Service was good and I recommend to pay extra for the breakfast and garage. Although the room was plain, colorful interior design made it interesting. Hotel location is very good, whether you are walking, driving, cycling or using public transport. Good value for the price. I don't have a negative comment to write.

Had high expectations, especially when we arrived, seeing how good the front looks, and the well dressed staff. When we arrived there must have been at least 3 staff at the front desk and the front also looks very spacious with a restaurant which all adds a good feel. However, going into the bedroom, it was just way too basic. Not sure if I expected too much, but it was just way too basic. The bathroom was fine, clean but the bedroom was too plain. In comparison with the front, well dressed staff, expected more. Perhaps if the hotel could invest in a small fridge, and generally just updating the bedrooms so they could match the rest of the hotel. Staff were very friendly. Particularly the young chap at the caffe, sadly didn't get his name but he sold us an ice cream and also gave us some cups, as the room doesn't come with any cups, tea or kettle, which are purely basic items. Hotel has parking downstairs, good but expensive, £20 a day!, if you haven't got a powerful car, that slop coming out of the car park, isn't for the faint hearted. The hotel is also near shops, restaurants, etc and the area is safe and always buzzing with tourists so really felt safe. Disliked · Coffee machine, fridge in the rooms, , make rooms more welcome, reduce parking costs, £20 is way too much especially for your own guests!
