Beautiful city for long walks...I liked it. Known for the many dental clinics. The landscape was fabulous.

The parish church of St. Gotthárd is located in Magyar utca (a phenomenal pedestrian street), it is a building that has been continuously built and reborn since 1660. Both the extermination and the intrusion are the essence of the Baroque. I especially liked one of the frescoes. In one work, the artist presents the path taken by the overbearing, intolerant Saul as he became noble as Paul, who became an advocate of faith. Light fireworks are also added to the beautiful baroque furnishings! On the stained glass window, images of saints filter, scatter, select the rays of the sun. After World War I, the Habsburgs became persona non grata in Austria. Archduke Frigyes Habsburg, General and Commander-in-Chief of the OMM Army moved here to Mosonmagyaróvár. It was revered and loved by the civilians here, so in 1932 they offered the family a crypt under the church. They were barely done with the transformation (unfortunately) it was already needed. In 1936, Archduke Frederick was buried here and the coffin of his wife, Isabella Croy-Dülmeni, was also brought here. These elegant double-walled metal coffins still stand here today. There are 2-2 marble urns on their side. Now that historians have gone beyond all the bad Habsburg stereotypes, we can “calmly” respect the deserving Habsburgs. The crypt also hides two famous relics of the saints. Here stands a huge altar carved from a single block, carved from red “marble” in Tardos. (At least according to the brochure. I have yet to learn that no real marble occurs in our country!) The relics of Tamás Becket and St. Adalbert are hidden by the altar. As in advertising: Two in one.
