★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Szent László lovagkirályunk szobrát szentté avatásának 800. évfordulója alkalmából, 1993-ban Szőke Gyula kanonok - egykori mosonmagyaróvári plébános - és a várost szerető polgárok közadakozásából emelték.
A Szent Gotthárd templom mellett álló szobrot Lebó Ferenc készítette úgy, hogy talapzata egyben ivókút is, amelyen László szentté avatására és Nagyvárad alapításának 900. évfordulójára emlékező bronzplakettek találhatók.
