Wonderful service and great English-speaking staff! Hegedüs András Norbert was exceptionally friendly and translated all the information for me while opening my bank account. Thanks to him all the process was clear and simple for me. Highly recommended!

The stuff was incredibly helpful and nice, especially Andras Norbert Hegedus who's a qualified professional, he assisted and provided me with all the necessary information. I was in another OTP office and was lost and confused but Mr.Andras gave me a helping hand and solved all the issues. I recommend you to go to this office if you're foreigner in Hungary.

THE WORST BANK I HAVE EVER SEEN UNTIL TODAY. Although there was not crouded, I had to wait for an HOUR. And they did'n solve the problem. I waited for 1 hour to hear "I don't know what to do".

Tried to open a bank account yesterday. Asked the clerk if she speaks English, she confirmed so I stayed. Right away her phone rang and she carried a personal phone call for few minutes as if I wasn’t there. Once she finished, she grabbed my passport and started account opening procedure. I said that I’d like to know what my options and fees are since I saw online there are a few. She didn’t reply to anything I said, after a while mumbled “basic”. I told her that I can go to someone else if she’s not comfortable speaking English but she refused and continued setting up a basic account that I didn’t want. I informed her that I’m interested in different option and repeated myself few times before she replied that if I want to open other than basic account or know what my options are, I should schedule an appointment for next week (?????). I left the bank beyond angered as I needed the bank account number before Monday.

When it comes to foreigners, the employees of the OTP's Kalvin branch is not motivated to help at all. In addition to that, one guy also gave wrong information to me which I found out later. From time to time, in small tasks they help sometimes with zero motivation. And I had one nice experience there, Counting those two previous arguments I gave 2 stars, otherwise the experience is negative.

Well I do not judge people, living here for a long time and never had a bad experience. But today I wanted to solve some problems related with my bank account and I was not aware the this branch closes at 4 pm and I open the main door at 4:07 and there were few people inside, A guy came immediately and was aggressive like he was going to hit me, shouted on me it's closed its cloesd leave, He is a public servant and He should behave well while dealing with common people and He must be thankful that His salary comes from our money.
