★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pável Ágoston szlovén családban született, és mindig büszkén vállalta kettős identitását. 1911-ben diplomázott a Pázmány Péter Tudományegyetem magyar-latin szakán. 1920-ban visszakerül Szombathelyre, és az Állami Leánygimnázium tanára lett. 1933-ban megalakult a Vas-vármegyei Múzeumok Barátainak Egyesülete, elsősorban Pávelnek köszönheti a létrejöttét. Ugyanebben az évben az egyesület életre hívta a Vasi Szemle című folyóiratot, melynek Pável lett a főszerkesztője. 1946. január 2-án hunyt el. A szombathelyi Szent Quirin templomban nyugszik.
 Pável Ágoston was born into a Slovenian family and has always proudly assumed his dual identity. In 1911 he graduated from the Hungarian-Latin Department of the Pázmány Péter University. In 1920 she returned to Szombathely and became a teacher at the State Girls' High School. The Association of Friends of Museums of Vas County was founded in 1933, mainly due to Pável. In the same year, the association launched the magazine Vasi Szemle, of which Pável became the editor-in-chief. He died on January 2, 1946. It rests in the church of St. Quirin in Szombathely.
