De ugyanez elmondható akkor is, ha kizárólag magát a közösséget tekintjük, hiszen az egyházközség közel száz, bizonyos tekintetben pedig több mint kétszáz éves múltja maga is történelem. The past history of the parish of Pécel is part of the history defined by national or world politics (think of World War II and its implications for Pécel). But the same goes for the community itself, as the parish has a history of nearly one hundred and in some respects more than two hundred years.
