11 courses of incredible high quality. Superb presentation, surprising flavour combinations and amazing different textures. We love to explore as many restaurants as possible but we're definitely coming back to Rumour in Budapest. The chef takes time to speak with all the guests which my wife seemed to enjoy almost as much as the food :D. I didn't know he was famous but I can see why he has so many fans.

Great place to spend a night! Like being in a theatre

An outstanding experience! The service was beyond everything I ever had. All employees were so friendly and knew everything about each of the dishes. I was really surprised how good a barkeeper and service can be and expected to silently sit at my own table and enjoy delicious food. But the whole event was like a real theatrical event that rightly deserves the name Rumour. The 11+ course menu was a voyage trough Hungarys ingredients combined with the experience of head chef Jenő Rácz of different countries and cultures. Each of the dishes were carefully prepared and had their own personal touch and "hidden" features. The chef personally answered my questions about the preparation and process of cooking the different dishes. Additionally I got a unique cocktail/wine experience carefully selected for every dish. Although everyone's personal tastes are different and I would rate some dishes from good to outstanding, each dish was a work of art in its own right and showed how diverse perhaps seemingly simple everyday ingredients can be prepared through experience and skill. It must be emphasized here that most of the ingredients are Hungarian regional and yet different from the European cuisine I am familiar with. I am glad to have been able to get a table at such short notice, whether as a single person, couple or group, you should definitely experience the Rumour!

I went for my birthday and it was really worth it. I've been to many Michelin Stars and it really blows my mind with so much creativity and play on flavors! Besides, he has one of the best Sommelier that I have experienced in my life. Incredible knowledge and ability of taste to combine the dishes. they deserve a michelin star! the service is incredible and we are very friendly and attentive, I really recommend it 100%

We made reservations for the rumor menu, an 11 course menu. It was an amazing experience, all the dishes were made perfectly and the sitting on the bar around the kitchen gives you a feeling like you are in a real show. Highly recommended Michelin level restaurant

The experience at this restaurant was delightful. From the truly delicious food to the outstanding service of the waiters and Chef, you feel like having dinner among friends with top quality food. Our waiter Szilam walked us through the wine list and recommended the most delicious cocktails. Every single dish was a different culinary experience. This Chef deserves the Michelin star for sure.
