Y	Yaneris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a bit skeptical because of other comments seen here, however none of the comments despised the food, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. We both enjoyed our dishes very much: Truffled linguini and the Steak with fries. Meat was on point for both, the pasta sauce great and the fries fresh and crunchy. We just walked in for lunch and still got a very nice table for two right in front of the lake, but I would recommend making a reservation because it's quite popular. It wasn't that crowded this time, but I believe once Budapest opens fully to tourists again, it might get more complicated. The service staff were nice and courteous, and helped us with suggestions. It's a bit pricey yes, but I expected it given it's fame and location. Their Apple Crumble was ok for dessert but nothing special for my taste though. I make a great one at home.

'no no those tables are reserved' We stayed there for 1u30. Food, drinks, bottle of wine. Bill of 48000 Ft. Never did anyone sit at the window, the table staying empty all the time. Why would you even place a table at the window if no person is allowed to sit there. Is it to lure people inside? The food was good. The french fries were terrific. The lady that served us was friendly and cute. They added a max service cost to the bill %15 (uhm okay..)

I’ve been twice before (2008, when it was amazing; 2015 when it was ok) and the view and setting is definitely spectacular. Very romantic too. We were shown good seats (I made reservations) and they tried to steer us to the steak menu. This is not what I would consider a steak restaurant. We tried several wines. They were awful and extremely expensive. They waiter lost his temper with us and told us to take his advice and order the most expensive. Which we did, because their other red wines were terrible. Why sell awful wine which even your junior waiters (he was no sommelier!) know they are undrinkable? We give it two stars for the ambience. The food was ok (nothing exceptional), the service was awful (loosing their temper??) and it was expensive!

I had a beef shoulder, which was cooked to perfection, couple of whiskeys and the milk chocolate dessert was a great finisher. The staff are great, have visited this place multiple times and looking forward to visit again.

The location is superb with a great view of the lake. The food was delicious with some very good and interesting Hungarian dishes. The geese liver plate was very nicely presented and delicious. Although the service was very slow, the day we were there, the friendly staff, the quality of the food and the great location makes this a 5 star place to go in Budapest.
