Outwardly nice, but unfortunately we could not see it inside during the tourist season (07/27/2016). Not even a notification phone number was sent.

Такое в России увидишь только в той церкви, что не была закрыта во времена гонений в Советском Союзе. А эта церковь не знала ни изгнаний, ни закрытия, ни расстрела священников. В этой церкви я крестился. Жаль только, что отец Далибор приезжал только раз в две недели. Beautiful old church. With a lot of icons that have been brought to the church from homes for many, many decades. You will see this in Russia only in the church that was not closed during the times of persecutions in the Soviet Union. And this church did not know any exile, no closure, no shooting of the priests. I was baptized in this church. It is a pity that Father Dalibor came only once every two weeks.

The Serbian church, built around 1770, the temple of St. John the Baptist has been very nicely renovated, it works in unison with the open-air museum on Rác Street.

It was built between 1770-80 in Baroque style. Rococo iconostasis is unique in the country. Patron Saint of St. John the Baptist. Its tower was renovated in 1831 by Schmidt Erhard, and has a 300 kg bell cast in the 19th century. His paintings were painted in 1776 by Jovan Grabován and Grigorije Popovity.

The Church of St. John the Baptist in Székesfehérvár (St. John's Church in Hungarian, often a Rác church or a palace town church) is the church of the Serbian Orthodox parish in Székesfehérvár. It is located in the Palace City, in the open-air museum on Rác Street. Made between 1770 and 1780 in Baroque style. Rococo style iconostasis is unique in Hungary. Székesfehérvár received the main prize of Europe Nostra for the construction of the open-air museum and the renovation of the church in 1989. [1] The patron saint of the church is János Keresztelő.
