recommend the 8 course meal. these chefs know what they are doing. impressed by the details and the attentiveness to the pairing of wines for each dish. everything was not just beautiful to look at but delicious as well. you must go here for the experience ! I love the fact you can see through the window into the kitchen. it was fascinating to see them work together and prepare such intricate dishes. staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. going to try their bistro restaurant tonight ?

Outstanding! Top of the top!!! They absolutely deserve their Michelin star and will most certainly get another in the future since everything was perfect to the point. How did they find all their highly knowledgable and well trained staff members? – Five stars for the waiters and sommelier! From their heart they gave all to satisfy even complicated requests without judgment. Wow! Outstanding! We can’t wait to go again and I feel like I owe them a bigger tip (even though it was already 15% in the bill included) ;)

An amazing experience that never disappoints! Stand embodies fine dining as I love it, full of creativity, outstanding food and fantastic service in a beautiful environment. This paired with an accessible price (everything is relative of course) and an atmosphere that is formal but at the same time friendly and relaxed. The place: the restaurant is in the city centre, close to the Jewish quarter and its nightlife where to continue the evening. The style is modern and tends to minimalism. It has a wonderful open kitchen separated from the dining room with a glass. I love to watch plates coming alive. The environment is of course formal, but keeping a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcoming feeling. The service: service is outstanding. A mix of faultless professionalism with a friendly and attentive approach. The food: I come to Stand regularly. I like to try the new menu when it comes out. And every time I’m amazed by it. There is the quality of course, and the use of local ingredients when possible as well as attention to the roots of local cuisine interpreted magisterially by the chef. But there is as well the creativity and the attention to details beyond what you would expect from a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Without going through each plate that would request 3 pages of description, the goulash is unpaired with flavours that burst in your mouth and meat that melts. And the venison was out of this world. But in general each dish arriving in front of you has the capacity to trigger emotions. Wine pairing is great and well balanced complimenting the food greatly (I suggest everyone to take it). The price: while not cheap by absolute standards, considering we are talking about fine dining and Michelin Star awarded restaurant, the price is more than honest. Trying such a culinary experience in cities like Paris or Rome would cost you close to the double. 6 courses menu comes around 90 euro and wine pairing another 50. All together you will spend around 160 euro per person, but for a memorable experience worth every euro. Overall the restaurant is not just a restaurant. It’s a proper culinary temple where to experience something new and discover flavours and combinations that will last in your mind and enrich your soul.

Outstanding service and food. We were visiting budapest from San Francisco and wanted to try a Michelin star Hungarian fine dining experience. Everything was superb! They even accommodated a 8 course menu and 6 course wine pairing combo for us with delicious options of Riesling

We had a beautiful experience, with attentive friendly staff and gorgeous food. Each course (plus the chef's surprises) was not only delicious but a fun take on the main ingredients/flavors. For instance, I've had venison in many ways (from fresh on a hunting trip to stewed and in between) and tonight's version surprised me with the celery salad presentation and the sauce. Earlier, the celeriac was an earthy delicious morsel, really elevated by the cheese. Each dish, and the wine pairings also, was a delight. This meal put Budapest above NYC, London, and Paris for fine dining for me.

One the best meals I ever had! The atmosphere was very nice and the service simply amazing! We tried the 8-course meal and it was delicious!! Suck a trip in tastes! The celery root dish was a SURPRISE and the ice cream... just nothing I ever tried. Oh and one of the best cocktails I ever had! Make sure that you make a reservation around a month before cause it's tough to get a spot. I would definitely go back one day!

Stand is freaking OUTSTANDING! If you can, please make yourself a favor and go dine there! We were a couple that came to Budapest for a birthday and found out that there is a Michelin star restaurant 3 minutes walk from our hotel. We’ve found out a unique restaurant with damn spectacular food and an amazing staff! I believe the photos can deliver the experience!
