★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A karcsú, magas nőalak Szeged Múzsája. Ruháján a várost jelképező épületek – a Dóm, a Dömötör-torony, a múzeum, a városháza, a színház és az alsóvárosi ferences templom – láthatók. A Szegedért Alapítvány minden évben díjakkal ismeri el a város kiemelkedő személyiségeit. A fődíj nemcsak rangot ad, kivételesen szép művészeti alkotás: Lapis András 30 cm-es bronz kisplasztikája, Szeged Múzsája. Első alkalommal a szobrot 1990. március 12-én adományozták Szőkefalvy-Nagy Béla matematikusnak.
Az alapítvány díja köztéri szoborként is megjelenik. 2006-ban a díjátadás napján avatták a Glattfelder Gyula téren az új szökőkutat, közepén a tehetség, a tudás, a szárnyaló képesség szimbólumát, Szeged Múzsáját.
