J	Joli Harsányi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az újpesti Főplébánia egyháztanácsa a váci püspök kezdeményezésére 1932. február 15-én határozott arról, hogy az „Újpest-turján”-nak nevezett városrészen templomot épít. A várostól adományozott telken épült fel a templom. A terveket Aggházy Tibor készítette, kivitelező a Szilágyi-Schrott cég. Az új templomot 1934. augusztus 26-án szentelték Szent József tiszteletére, tekintettel a környéken lakó munkás és iparos lakosságra. A templom freskóit Takács István festőművész 1975-ben készítette. 1995-ben Molnár László építészmérnök tervei alapján közösségi teremmel bővítették a sekrestyét. On the initiative of the bishop of Vác, the church council of the Archdiocese of Újpest decided on 15 February 1932 to build a church in the part of the city called "Újpest-turján". The church was built on a plot donated from the city. The plans were made by Tibor Aggházy and constructed by the Szilágyi-Schrott company. The new church was consecrated on August 26, 1934, in honor of St. Joseph, in view of the working and industrial population living in the area. The frescoes of the church were made in 1975 by the painter István Takács. In 1995, based on the plans of architect László Molnár, the sacristy was expanded with a community hall.
