A sétány mentén elhelyezett állatszobrok és a lugas alatti dombormű a Szent Mártonhoz kapcsolódó néphagyományokra és Márton legendájának állatokhoz kapcsolódó eseményeire utalnak.
Így többek között:
– a legenda szerint Márton a püspökké választás elől a libaólba bújt, de a libák gágogásukkal elárulták,
– a néphagyomány szerint, aki Márton napján libát nem eszik, egész évben éhezik,
– egyszer egy kígyó egy játszadozó gyermekre támadt, de amikor Márton ráparancsolt, elkúszott más irányba,
– egy másik legenda szerint Márton szavára a vad kutyák is szelíddé váltak.
A filagória alatti dombormű a remeteéletmód után vonzódó Márton ábrázolja.

- according to folklore, those who do not eat geese on Martin's Day go hungry all year round,
- once a snake attacked a playful child, but when Martin ordered it, he crawled in a different direction,
- according to another legend, according to Martin, wild dogs also became gentle.
The relief below the filagoria depicts Martin, who is attracted to the hermit's way of life.
