I think the quality of the Hungarian city museums is a big lutri. But the Szolnok Gallery is not. The building is beautiful. An exhibition currently presenting the excavation of the Gepida cemetery in Tiszzaug. High quality, interesting, informative. It presents a particularly exciting topic that doesn’t excite too many people. In fact, the pre-conquest period is largely unknown to the average people. Yet little memorabilia is presented in an exhibition of its well-constructed standards. Of particular interest is the anthropological part. Or the presentation of objects typical of this age. The building is a special experience, it is a pity that you can't walk around, you can only admire the interior of the old synagogue from the exhibition space. The building appears to have been cared for, renovated, although the space around it is a bit cluttered and untidy. The ticket is not a huge amount either. HUF 500 for the exhibition and there are discounts. In short, if you go there you should go in for half an hour.
