★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A köznyelv nevezi "csíkosarcú hölgynek" is a Táncosnó szobrát, az arc felszínén megfolyt anyag miatt. A táncosnő mezítláb lép oldalra, a teste mögött leengedett kezeiben többrétegű szoknyája egy darabját húzza szét, mintegy legyezőt. A ruha, mint csak nagyon vékony selyem, engedi láttatni a test határozott női vonalait, erős erotikus kisugárzást adva a szobornak.
Medgyessy Ferenc 1954-es műve az Örkény színház előtti szobor. A wikipédia szerint a szobrász 1923-ban mintázta a "Táncoló lány" kompozícióját. Később ebből több szobor is készült, amelyekből található példány Debrecenben (szülővárosa) és Székesfehérváron is.
Az Örkény színház előtti szobor már több helyen is állt: 1954-ben az Izabella téren állították fel először, ezután 1976-ban került át a Kálvin térre, végül 1982-ben helyezték át ide, a Madách térre.

The 1954 work of Ferenc Medgyessy is the statue in front of the Örkény Theater. According to wikipedia, the sculptor modeled the composition of "Dancing Girl" in 1923. Later, several sculptures were made of it, copies of which can be found in Debrecen (hometown) and Székesfehérvár.
The statue in front of the Örkény Theater already stood in several places: it was first erected in Izabella Square in 1954, then moved to Kálvin Square in 1976, and finally moved to Madách Square in 1982.
