Tinódi Lantos Sebestyén szobra Budapesten, a Népliget Könyves Kálmán körút felőli oldalán található, a körúttal párhuzamos út mellett, a Planetáriumtól északra.
A szoborról:
Bezerédi Gyula alkotását eredetileg 1907-ben állították fel a Nemzeti Színház akkori épülete előtt, a Blaha Lujza téren. 1955-ben, a 2-es metró építése és a Blaha Lujza tér átrendezése miatt helyezték át a Népligetbe, a mai helyére.
Many times I go there by bike in front of it, it’s worth stopping by to see this statue.
The statue of Sebestyén Tinódi Lantos is located in Budapest, on the side of Népliget Könyves Kálmán körút, next to the road parallel to the körút, north of the Planetarium.
About the statue:
Gyula Bezerédi's work was originally erected in 1907 in front of the then building of the National Theater on Blaha Lujza Square. In 1955, due to the construction of metro line 2 and the rearrangement of Blaha Lujza Square, it was moved to Népliget, its present location.
