★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb restaurant in the heart of Budapest.The design is fabulous, you are surronded with various wine elements which delivers you a mood to taste the wines.If you like vino you are just in a perfect place.I even can not count how many they have,but beleive a me: a lot.Professional waiters explaining (most of them someliers I guess) what is inside your glass.The food is delicious,all dishes has it`s own taste.Róbert the Restaurant manager was extremly friendly he is a real expert.There is even a wine shop so I bought my favourite bottle to take away.The location is perfect,Vaci street direct connection and terrace.Fantastic place I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely meal here. Glass of white wine, bread and olive oil dip with Dukkah spices, and the Hungarian pork special which was phenomenal. Had a nice lounge seat on the outside terrace. Very friendly waiter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Winestone is a fine restaurant located on the popular Váci street, attached to the hotel Mercure City Centre. The staff are very courteous and informed. They explain the dishes very nicely including the local delicacies and wines and spirits.
One of the waiter explained to us about their local mix called “Dukkah” which is an aromatic mixture of roasted pistachios, nuts, seeds and dried legumes. You dip your bread in olive oil and Dukkah before eating it. It was a lovely mixture!
There’s a great indoor dining along with dining outside on the popular Váci street.
The menu is certainly a great one but I wish it could change or add few more dishes. The vegetarian wrap wasn’t of my taste and aren’t many vegetarian choices too!

The wine was great.
The restaurant has tables at the reception and that ruined the ambiance.
Although they brought me a completely different order, I think it’s cause of the language barrier; but hey I still ate it even though it was too SALTY!
Will definitely come back for the cauliflower steak salad! Just that!!
