Szeretem a különleges kanyargó, mintás lépcsőházakat, és ilyen tekintetben Budapest egy kincsesbánya, de azt hiszem az YBL Palota lépcsőháza az etalon. Maga az épület története: A Pesti Hazai Első Takarékpénztár számára épült 1869-ben Ybl Miklós tervei alapján, neoreneszánsz stílusban. Ma a tulajdonos a Lindner csoport, aki dicséretre méltóan újította fel az épületet, s irodaházként működteti olyan patinás bérlőkkel, mint a Grafton, Recruitment, Lohn Ügyvédi Iroda, Oppenheim ügyvédi iroda stb. Jó lenne, ha valahogy időnként a nagyközönség számárra megnyitnák az épületet belülről, hogy láthassák ezt a csodát. I was actually “just” lucky enough to go to the stairwell, but it made up for a lot of things. Let's just say: I've never seen anything like it before. I like the special winding, patterned staircases, and in this respect Budapest is a treasure trove, but I think the staircase of the YBL Palace is the benchmark. History of the building itself: It was built for the Pest Hungarian First Savings Bank in 1869 according to the plans of Miklós Ybl, in Neo-Renaissance style. Today, the owner is the Lindner Group, which has commendably renovated the building and operates it as an office building with patinated tenants such as Grafton, Recruitment, Lohn Law Office, Oppenheim Law Office, and more. It would be nice to somehow open the building from the inside for the general public from time to time to see this miracle.
