M	Michael Mueller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hotel cannot provide the bare minimum required for a decent stay: a comfortable bed. The beds (and we tried several different rooms) are all hard as a rock. I've spent hundreds of nights in probably over 150 different hotels in the last 20 years. NEVER ever did I have to leave the hotel. Last weekend I left in the middle of the night. The hotel next door had regular comfortable beds. Just like you'd expect it. Don't go to the Bastion Hotel - it will ruin your stay in Budapest.
G	Gary C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 4 nights at room 201A, micro room, moldy bathroom, broken window blinds, no shower curtain, after shower everything is wet, wet walls even outside the bathroom are starting to rot and wallpaper is falling apart. See photos below. On top of it, there were super noisy guests from Italy, group of 6 in two separate rooms party in the interior yard, after complaining to the staffs a few times, no reaction or consequence to them... Missing fridge, heating can not be turned on. When I asked for second room key cards, reception told me not enough for every guests. Convenient location for sure, limited breakfast selection, if you don't believe try it out yourself. To sum up, Bastion Hotel Budapest barely make it to a 2 starred hotel.
N	Nataly Duyko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel has great location, close to many attractions in Budapest and just a minute-walk to the subway. The hotel stuff was friendly and helpful. However, the photos on the booking sites are quite misleading. I wouldn't say that the hotel has 4 stars: - the room was very dark, the floor was uneven. Two light bulbs didn't work. I could hear neighbours going around and using toilet as if they were in my room. - breakfast was OK, but there were just a few tables available for guests. - the reception was just a desk located almost in the same area as breakfast. - the hotel was located next to the construction site on a small side street

King/Double Beds - Just two singles pushed together and then split apart in the night. Single sheets too. Check the photo of where they store the "Clean" Sheets. Hygiene/Cleanliness - 0/10 - Absolutely disgusting levels of hygiene. The Rooms were dirty, dusty and we had to move rooms 3 times as our bathrooms were either leaking from the tap, shower or toilet not even flushing. Customer Service - NON EXISTENT. Terrible Management. - DO NOT STAY HERE! I would not stay here again even if it was free.
B	Bunmi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appalling! Pictures being shown are all an deception. The actual condition of the room was just about manageable for two nights. Beds were as hard as prison beds, bathroom had cobwebs and the toilet was disgusting, shower had a leakage and the hot water remained lukewarm. Once we had complained about the hot water, they couldn’t care less and blamed it on guests bathing all at the same time reduced the temperature of the water. Reception was just about helpful but the service was very basic. Only good thing about it is the location. Highly recommend not to stay here.
