It is a unique hotel, but the bottom line is that I left, after four nights, with a bad case of bug bites. Didn't know I had them until I left or I would have said something before leaving. I was in room #6. I could not find a website for the hotel with an email address so had to resort to this public announcement. The public needs to know. The hotel, to protect itself, needs to give customers another channel to communicate or one must resort to a public review.

Boutique hotel inside a multi-unit building close to Kalvin ter. Great location if you want to use public transportation around Budapest. It consists of 7 clean rooms at this location. There are all kind of restaurants and places (Central Market Hall) near by. Great value for money.

Quirky hotel with great apartments, excellent value and service. My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights/days in one of the 3 apartments on Pushkin Utca which is about 400m from the main hotel round the side of the Hungarian National Museum. Can you imagine getting anywhere reasonably priced close to say the British Museum?? If memory serves me it was £250 for 4 nights B&B, the apartment was really spacious with everything you could want including a washing machine. A nice touch was the complimentary bottle of wine and welcome note. Finding the entry to book in is a bit tricky as it was about 10.30 pm and it's on the second floor of the main building through 2 sets of buzzer entries but once in the people were most helpful. They forgot to give us breakfast vouchers and the guy ran 300 m to catch us up. Breakfast is a choice of 6 options at restaurant Nika which is about 5 minutes walk. The apartments are right on the edge of the old Jewish Quarter really central to Pest, the Danube, the markets, Aldi, Lidl, Tesco Express, (yes really), the Ruin Bars and the excellent travel network. We had a great time and would happily stay again.

It took us a little while to find the hotel and to find the reception, but the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and inviting. The location of the hotel was really convenient, right on a metro line and near some cool places. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Family ran business. Contacted me before we arrived, directly by Whatapp, which was good because it meant I had a direct contact with someone, should I have needed it. We were in the studio apartment which is in a different block. Having read previous reviews about the noise from the lift, we needn't have worried as the studios aren't in the in building with the lift. It was a tad difficult to find our apartment initially, but that's probably more a language barrier. Once we found it and worked out which keys were for which door it was a doddle. The apartment was clean tidy, with TV (only English speaking channel CNN not that we watched any TV anyway) and a hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine in the kitchenette. The bathroom was massive and the jacuzzi bath was a nice touch. The room was really warm, and the hot water instant. WiFi provided too. This building is situated in a courtyard and there are rules about making a noise. That suited us to a tee as we had a 9year old with us some went back to the apartment after our day of exploration and dinner. Suited us perfectly as Budapest night life isn't really suitable for children. Staff were friendly and you can leave your cases at the reception either before or after check in, for free, which was really useful. I got sent a YouTube video on how to find the reception, which was easy to follow. It's not like a typical hotel, but we found it fabulous. A great experience and we'd highly recommend here for a family break. A quick note about Budapest itself, it's a lovely city with loads to do. The local transport is fantastic and I'd highly recommend spending some time getting to grips with it. A 24hr group pass was 3300HUF about £7.50 and gives 24 hrs access to all busses, trams, Metro and trolly busses. Excellent value and will enable you to get anywhere in the city easily.

My friends and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. The hotel has a great location with lots of things to see and do nearby. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We had an amazing time in Budapest and would definitely highly recommend a stay here.

After booking, several days told me no room for my booking, told me an alternative option but don't told me the details, did not reply emails. A friendly advice, try another hotel, unless you want a situation that when you arrive there is no space for you.
