G	Gellért Székely on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too bad that even the food is taste as ... too buttery, to oily, to spicy (but not the great, Indian kitchen way) The place smells. Looks old but not fancy, and not even the good way of retro... The staff is rude, impolite and unfriendly. And not to mention that they are rude as well. I went there as a new guest and I felt like VUP (very unimportant person), whilst as a new face there they might or should try something better to make us regulars. But hey, better for us that they didn't. It is easier this way - DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!
A	Aiden W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly cellar restaurant with a menu available in many languages inside. Menu in Hungarian posted on the door. Air conditioned and cool, which was very welcome on a toasty 28C humid day. We ordered the breaded mushrooms, farmers plate, and the dumplings. All the food was delicious with a very generous portion. My partner and I took some back to eat later at our hotel.

The couple next to us was able to order it , just because they are Hungarian and we’re foreigners. Do not recommend. It’s a shame restaurants like this take the beauty of this city trying to rip you off

A friend of theirs told us to visit so they were more than pleasant to serve us anything, even when their kitchen was closed. We appreciated this move and stayed for some nicely serviced and traditional Goulash! The place is cozy, the service was more than great and the food was delicious. I’ll go back for more in the near future!

I mad it clear that I don’t want any pork in my dinner and I ordered veal schnitzel, Sure enough was huge portion the mashed potatoes that’s full of bacon. The veal was delicious but I had to push the mash to the side and not eat any of it. When I told the waiter he said oh sorry.
B	Bart Demandt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute gem if you're looking off the beaten path in Budapest and want to avoid tourist traps. Slightly hard to find, as it's semi underground and there's only a door on the street. While we were having dinner, about 8 food deliverers from Uber Eats, Food Panda and Wolt came to pick up orders, which is a clear signs the locals know to appreciate the place. Portions are huge, prices are reasonable and the flavour is excellent. It's great value for money, just don't expect a Michelin star restaurant. Came back several times during respective visits in Budapest and was never disappointed.

Decent goulash, again huge portion. With an apology for delay the waiter brings a portion of pickled spicy yellow peppers, yum! Decent prices, very good value. I'll be back!
