It was bit disappointment for me. I went so long and saw that it was closed. Am going to post the pic which was displayed there. Entry was free with your Budapest plus card else it was around 6euros. Thankyou!!

Good alternative to church tower, whichbis very crowded. Definetly go with mincard voucher with 40% discount. View only by glass window

Their website clearly claims that they are open until 6pm. We turned up at 4:15pm, only to have a rude lady gesticulating through a locked door/window, holding up 4 fingers to indicate they had closed at 4pm. Absolute waste of our time!

The tower is located in the Buda side of the river. Magdalene Tower (or often called Buda Tower) is a rare and amazing find in the Buda Castle District and an absolute must when in this area. After re-opening its doors to visitors, the tower offers views from the top that are absolutely breathtaking so the panorama is definitely worth climbing the total of 170 stairs to the top. After suffering severe damage during World War II and after being closed to the public for decades, the tall and reconstructed tower welcome visitors again and provides an extraordinary panorama with views to some of the most important buildings of Budapest.

The Buda Tower is an interesting place to visit with rich history. It's free, if you have the Budapest card. You can go to the top of it and spend some time with the great view Infront of you. The stairs are not wide and are more then 150 in total.

It's very pretty on the outside. The cost to enter and climb the tower is about $6.00, which is fairly high. Considering that you can get great views from Fisherman's Bastion and Matthius Church I didn't feel compelled to climb this tower.

At lesser known spot in Budapest that should be something everyone experiences. Walk up the 172 stairs of the tower of what is left that remains that remains of church that is over 500 years old and was sadly destroyed in the second World War.
