Worth the 230 step climb for a great view and a cool breeze. Nicely prepared posters along the climb up to the top of the tower give you a comprehensive history lesson in a short time.

Just recently opened the tower has impressive 360 degree views. 172 steps and 900 HUF puts you at the top. They are still working on the place so as yet there are no exhibitions or displays. Just the tower and the views. Still worth it.

It's one of the best places in Budapest, a shell of what it used to be but remarkable history, especially when the Magyar were an osmanli pashalic

A very enigmatic building, made of at least four materials to hold the walls. We did not understand immediatly what it was about when we visited Buda. However it is a nice remnant from the past in the middle of a beautiful place (Buda). It is funny to look at the plates on the building around there. Almost all of them display the name: "Muemlek", which mean monument in Hungarian language.

Lovely exterior remnants of the church, and very interesting history explained in English placards inside. Incredible view from the top.
