★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice time to spend an evening in Budapest... There is alternating musical pieces by the orchestra and folk dances by the dancers... The songs are sung by the dancers themselves... If they could add a few lines in English about each piece that they perform it would make more sense to us... The show is colourful and filled with energy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We could only gain admittance 30 mins before performance & not enough time to read programme before performance. The dances are well co-ordinated & actioned packed from start to finish, but no narration inbetween dances! It would have been interesting to know why these folk dances were being performed for was it a celebration of a birth or wedding or the beginning or end of a hunt or someone had cooked a good meal?? Sadly in the intermission service was very slow at bar, which took the pleasure away of having a glass of wine at leisure

Pro tip: Do not book the Category 3 tickets - you won't see a thing. Go for Category 1/2/VIP depending on your budget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dancing was nice and the music was nice as well, even though sometimes the two were not in sync, and the choreography seemed off at times.
I got tickets online the same day of the performance and it was easy to purchase, they have different sitting categories to choose from, but its not explain what or where each one is, so we ended up at the last row of the theater without knowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to see a traditional Hungarian dance show. Very nice, we really enjoy it. My 4 years old spent the rest of the vacation imitating the dancers???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great performance of traditional Hungarian folk music and dance. The musicians were as impressive as the dancers. It can get a little warm in the theatre though. Photography is allowed but no filming.
