Housed in an imposing building, the National Horse Race and the National Greyhound Stadium are the strongholds of the Hungarian Rugby ....

It's great to have a place like this. I hope it will serve the sport well in the long run. The stadium was built in 2019 with the renovation of one of the old indoor stands of the racecourse. In the area in front of the stand, a greyhound race track and inside the rugby track were built. The dual purpose also determines its design. For example, the midfield of the track does not line up with the center of the stand to fit the curve of the running circle, the grass area can only be approached by crossing the boundary of the running circle, the rugby track is lower than the running circle. I don’t know if I had to compromise on the size of the track, e.g. the target area seems short enough, but you may have 6 meters. The track has lighting on the stand side. Some constructive remarks, some of which could still be improved: No small bench for teams (replaced :). The scoreboard is visible from the track, but the spectators are either behind their backs or obscuring the view of the track (corrected, moved to the left). From the top rows, unfortunately, the columns of the roof cover parts of the track. In the rain, the water stops on the track, the renovation of the building is not complete, the changing rooms can be used, the landscaping of the environment is not ready yet. Some of the horse nameplates in the sectors fell off the wall. I really like the flags at the top of the gate. I hope to finish the stadium soon, which will bring a lot of joy.
