"1950-1953 között kb. 12 ezer főt telepítettek ki Budapestről, ebből mintegy 7500 embert deportáltak 12 hortobágyi és jászsági táborba. Az I. kerületi Szarvas tér zöld területén 2010-ben felavatott üvegbeton alkotás a kényszerlakhelyekre és kényszermunka-táborokba elhurcoltaknak állít emléket, és azokat az istállókat jeleníti meg, ahová a deportáltakat a hortobágyi pusztán elszállásolták."
