★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in a bookstore, as is with most Café Freis. Comfortable seating, wide and top quality selection, quick service. They also offer cakes and biscuits, which are of strong quality, as well.
A bit noisy, when some appliances are operated, however, this can just as much be part of the overall Café Frei experience as the interior or the products themselves.
Definitely recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff inattentive and distracted, no welcome, no smiles, tables empty and dirty, even 3 staff on duty with no orders, My flat white was at best room temperature and my wife's jamaican coffee the same. some serious retraining (or some training) needed and possibly a new unit Manager/supervisor to bring standards back up to brand expectations. A disappointing experience that obviously leads me to give negative review and discouraging others to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded but cozy place. Coffee is nice, but the stories about it belong to a fairy tale book. Basically you get coffee with a huge variety of artificial aroma. Cakes are tasty. Expect a waiting time for your order.

The barista charged me and additional 50 HUF for a paper cup which I found surprising as I didn’t ask for one. It’s not about the few cents, it’s about the fact that it wasn’t busy and she seemed to charge extra by default. The coffee itself was delicious, 1/3 of the price I normally pay for my daily coffee.
