A korabeli építeszeti stílusnál jóval merészebb színösszeállísú homlokzatát és magát az épületet Lechner Ödön tervezte. Népművészetből származó formavilágát Zsolnay-kerámiadíszek teszik egyedülállóvá. Built in 1900-1902, the palace is magnificent in green-blue-orange. The façade and color of the building, which is much bolder than the contemporary architectural style, was designed by Ödön Lechner. Zsolnay ceramic ornaments make his folk art form unique.

Majolika díszítésű homlokzatát és két lépcsőházát Lechner Ödön alakította ki. Érezhető rajta az építész főművének, a budapesti Posta-takarékpénztárnak hatása. Ezt a stílust a magyar népművészet ihlette. A zöld-kék-narancs színkombináció a korban merésznek számított. Az épületet Zsolnay-kerámiák díszítik, szépek az erkélyrácsok, a lépcsőkorlátok és a kovácsoltvas bejárati ajtó is. A ház modernnek számított, ugyanis a lakások fürdőhengerrel és káddal voltak felszerelve, ami akkor még nem igazán volt elterjedt. Az épületben a Bábszínház működött a 80-as évek közepéig. The effect of the architect's masterpiece, the Budapest Post-Savings Bank, is felt. This style was inspired by Hungarian folk art. The green-blue-orange color combination was considered bold in the age. The building is decorated with Zsolnay pottery, and has beautiful balconies, stair railings and wrought iron entrance doors. The house was modern because the flats were equipped with a bath roller and bathtub, which was not really widespread at that time. The Puppet Theater operated in the building until the mid-1980s. On the next house, a sign quotes the detail of the poem written by Gyula Juhász (Head of Dózsa) written on the street's name.
