Friendly staff, but not so professional. Forgot parts of the first order and the second order completely - we were two people at the table.

500/10 THIS is the place you want to go to and come back over and over again, regardless how many kilometers you have to travel! The food is not just tasty, it is gorgeous. Everything is self made, no premade things from stores. We had hortobágyi palacsinta/hortobágy pancakes, filled with chicken mince, spiced with red paprika. Duck with croquettes and a mixed salad - I had not been aware that salad could taste this good... The duck which comes also with a tiny jar of blueberry....sauce (?) just made our day. Dessert was túros palacsinta/pancakes with a Hungarian style quark. Very sweet, very delicious. The service is absolutely nice and fast, as was the kitchen. We couldn't even think of what we needed or wanted next and already had it. I also had a lángos which they make right around the corner and is an external part of the restaurant - Perfect dough and absolutely fresh. Try it the traditional way, with sour cream, garlic oil and grated cheese. This place lives absolutely up to its name. 7740 forint or 24 € for all of this and we would have gladly payed a lot more for this experience.

We always eat here when we are in Szentendre. There is a very nice view of the Danube from the terrace. Good menu. Has vegan and vegetarian options. Nice staff. Not overpriced.

Nothing special but quite expensive. There are better options in that area.

Service is always great but the servers don’t get tip share. Also for the entire pandemic, the management still refuses to switch on the hand dryers or fill the empty paper towel dispensers in both bathrooms. I’d say the management is seriously penny pinching esp during a PANDEMIC. It’s a pity because it’s a nice place otherwise

The food quality is quite good. The portions are excellent and just right. The taste of the food was actually nice. The meat of the pork dishes is nice and well cooked. The burgers are also good, apart from the bread around it. I wouldn't recommend the home made lemonade though. It has a very flat taste with little sparkle and the lemons were not so fresh. The service however was a different story. The service in the beginning was very slow. We sat down, but after 15 minutes nobody showed up, even though they could clearly see us. The food was served semi-hot, but some pieces were already a bit cold. It took a good 35 minutes for them to bring the food, which is also slow.

I took my foreign friend here. The view is nice if you sit outside. Soup was delicious. My irish friend really liked the chicken soup. The wiener schnitzel was such a big portion we could hardly finish. We didn't have space in our tummy to order dessert. ? Good experience! This was my second visit here.
