The promenade was named after Béla Hamvas (Prešov, March 23, 1897 - Budapest, November 7, 1968), who was a posthumous Hungarian writer, philosopher, esthetician and librarian, son of József Hamvas, Lutheran pastor, teacher, writer and newspaper editor. .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gyönyörű és nagyon hangulatos hely a parton. Minden évszakban nagyon jó itt sétálni, de tavasszal és ősszel a legszebb. Csodás ősöreg platánfák árnyékában, az egykori gázgyári tisztviselő lakótelep villáinak szomszédságában mintha az ember a nyugalom egy kis szigetére tévedne.
Beautiful and very cozy place on the beach. It is very good to walk here in all seasons, but spring and autumn are the most beautiful. In the shade of a magnificent ancient sycamore tree, next to the villas of a former gas factory official housing estate, it is as if one is wandering to a small island of tranquility.

Beautiful promenade, I often come here in the morning for a start-up walk, to meditate. Unfortunately, the abandoned construction site has recently ruined part of the alley.
