Nice cheap Hostel, highly recommend! (2012)

Hi Guys and Girls the cheapest and best place to stay it is a real hostel,so no 5 stars but to good for the money and with nice breakfast and very helpfull people in the reception. Have a great stay!!!!

Worst Hostel ever! We arrived at about 10am and our Room (for five persons) was ready at about 10:30PM! If it wouldn’t have been enough the stuff was too stupid to tell us that you can park in Pest everywhere for free. They rather send us to a quite remote parking lot for about 24€/day. The room (or should I say dumb?) was quite dirty because they just renovated it and inside there was one of those 70’s carpeted floor which you basically only want to have in your own house if you want to grow your own mushrooms/fungi. The paint in the bathroom was still wet in contrary to one of the 3 public toilets/showers which did not work. Apropos did not work, how important is light in a bathroom? Beside the light thing, our private bathroom did not contain a Toilet. What’s the definition of bathroom again? Anyway, we had to go to the two public toilets which where for the whole hostel. Very nice :) The beds where harder than the floor. If it had not been so dirty, I would have rather slept on it. However we have had one double bed but they haven’t had a sheet for it so we had to use two small once. The Public rooms have not been very nice but okay. They have had two computers but they did not work. Anyway everybody has a smartphone so it is not so bad. For our inconveniences, they reduced the price. We did not pay 140€ but 125€. I think this was a cruel joke of the Hostel manager. The position of the hostel is very good and the city itself beside Firenze one of the most beautiful city’s in Europe I have seen yet. You really want to go there and when I say “there”, I mean the city and certainly not the hostel!

best hostel!! great location, super nice people working at the reception, cheap price, and nice public area including enough bathrooms for everyone and a nice kitchen. they even have breakfast (which I didnt use so I dont know how good it was.) very recommended, I was very pleased with this place.
